Wednesdays at Sun Valley Skating Center - Outdoor Rink

Fall: Oct. 25th - Dec. 6th (no class on Nov. 22nd)

Winter: Feb. 7th - March 13th

Spring: April 3rd - May 8th

Skaters ages 4 years old and up (adults, too) and all skill levels are welcome!

Class times are Wednesdays at 4:10 pm and 4:35 pm, based on skill level. We will do our best to assign classes based on age and skill level, but will adjust as necessary after the first class. .

Public Skate is from 5:10 - 7 pm.

$130 for 6 Weeks includes:

  • 25 minute group lesson

  • Free skate rental for the lesson

  • Public session ice time after class starting at 5:10pm

  • Additional one free skate rental and public session per week for the enrolled skater. Skaters will be given a punch card on Week 1 for their additional sessions. The punch card will not be replaced if lost or destroyed.

  • Performance for parents on final week​

Registration is first come first served. Spots are limited.

Registration closes January 12, 2024 at 10pm local time.

*if spots are available, we will announce a re-opening date for spring session at a later date.

What is Learn To Skate?

U.S. Figure Skating’s Learn To Skate USA Program (LTS) is a fun, challenging and rewarding skating curriculum – designed to keep skaters enthusiastic about learning from the time they begin lessons until the time they reach their goals. Whether your goal is to achieve Olympic fame or simply enjoy the recreational benefits of skating, LTS is for you!

  • Ages 4 & Up (adult skaters, too)

  • Beginner to advanced Free Skate levels 1-6

  • 6-week sessions with weekly classes on Wednesdays at 4:10 pm and 4:35 pm on the outdoor rink in the winter, spring and fall

  • Taught by our Sun Valley coaches

  • Run by Sun Valley Figure Skating Club
